Event Recap: ASPIRE's Mother's Day Brunch

Last Saturday, I coordinated ASPIRE's Mother's Day Brunch at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge. This was a beautiful event held in the Riverside Pavilion. There were three main speakers, one who flew in all the way from California, a spoken word poet, and Channel 7 News anchor, Frances Rivera, emceed the event. Roses were given out by Youth Leaderhip Program scholars to all mothers who attended, jazz music filled the room while guests enjoyed their three course brunch, and there were also 25 silent auction items that guests could bid on.

Flowers were done by It's About Time, and they created two different types of gorgeous centerpieces: pink cymbidium orchids in a tall cylinder vase filled with river rocks, and another with pink tulips in green hydrangea in a low cylinder vase filled with green limes. The ASPIRE event was a great success, and I was so happy to have been part of a day that celebrates mothers.

A bit later, I'll post some detailed pictures of the programs and bid numbers that I created for this event!
