Tiffany Blue Chandelier Wedding Invitations

A few months ago, I was contacted by Ayami to create invitations for her March 2010 wedding. She wanted an elegant invitation with Tiffany blue and coral colors, and wanted something that captured the beauty of her reception venue. It has marble columns and hanging chandeliers, and she sent me the following photos of her venue, Hall of Springs, as inspiration:

The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and I just love the high ceilings. After a few rounds of samples, the final invitation that I created for Ayami was an elegant hand-glittered chandelier invitation in her color scheme. Each chandelier on the main invitation had 43 hand-glittered crystals, to give it a hint of shimmer and texture. To date, it has probably been the most detailed hand-glittering work that I've ever done!

The invitation is made of a pearlecent metallic white cardstock, with an aqua lagoon metallic backing. The rsvp card and matching main invitation envelope are in pearlescent metallic white, and the aqua lagoon metallic response envelope matches the main invitation backing.
